Evan’s love for sports began at a young age, with his parents introducing him to various activities early in life. "Sports have always been a part of my life, and I love every minute of them," says Evan. From swimming lessons at 6 months old to gymnastics at age 2, and flag football at 3 years old, Evan’s parents have fostered a love for competition and skill development. His athletic journey eventually led him to focus on football, where he found his true passion. Starting tackle football in 4th grade, Evan has spent five years honing his skills as the QB1 for his team. This year, he is gearing up for his 7th season of tackle football and his 5th year as the starting quarterback.

Evan's academic and athletic excellence go hand in hand. As a 9th grader at Desert Hills High School, he is not only a dedicated football player but also a hardworking student. His commitment to his training is unwavering, often spending his offseason traveling for camps, combines, and participating in competitive 7-on-7 games. Evan also balances his training with being part of the track team, showcasing his versatility and drive to excel in multiple areas. His rigorous schedule includes early morning weight training and practices in preparation for the tough fall season, where temperatures in St. George can soar as high as 115 degrees. This commitment to his training, even in the most challenging conditions, reflects his incredible determination and resilience.

In his rare moments of downtime, Evan enjoys snowboarding, dirt bike riding, and visiting his grandparents in Ohio, as well as the occasional trip to Alaska. His passion for adventure and his ability to balance his athletic endeavors with personal time further demonstrate his well-rounded character.
