National Radar Interview: Dominic Colosi | WR | Class of 2027 | Pinelands Regional HS (NJ)
When you sit down with Dominic Colosi, one thing becomes clear quickly: this is a young wide receiver who takes pride in the work long before the spotlight ever shows up. The Class of 2027 pass catcher out of Pinelands Regional High School is quietly building a foundation rooted in discipline, consistency, and a belief that results will follow effort.
Coming off a strong fall season, Colosi played a key role in helping push his team to a 6–3 record while contributing to one of the most productive offensive years in school history. He finished the season with 36 receptions for 376 yards and two touchdowns, led his team in receiving yards, and earned First Team C South (Offense) honors. While the team narrowly missed the playoffs and dropped a tight division matchup, the season was still one to remember.“We broke multiple school records this year,” Colosi shared. “Even though we barely missed the playoffs, it showed what we’re capable of when we come together and trust the process.”
From Week 1 to the final whistle of the season, Colosi believes his biggest improvement didn’t just show up on the stat sheet.“My work ethic,” he said without hesitation. “I learned how much I really value hard work—not just in football, but in school and in life. That mindset change made a huge difference for me.”
That mentality has carried straight into the offseason. Rather than slowing down, Colosi has doubled down on his development, committing himself to daily work with his quarterback and defensive backs.“I’m locked in on my craft,” he explained. “Working out every day with my QB and DBs pushes all of us to get better. Iron sharpens iron.”
At 5’7”, 150 pounds, Colosi knows his path will be built on production, reliability, and competitiveness. His goals for next season reflect that confidence.“I want to be one of the best wideouts in the state,” he said. “That’s the standard I’m holding myself to.”
While he does not currently hold any college offers, Colosi is far from discouraged. In fact, that chip-on-the-shoulder mentality fuels him.“I’m a hard-working man, and I’ll prove why I deserve a shot,” he said. “All I need is an opportunity.”
From a scouting perspective, Colosi brings several traits that coaches value at the next level: excellent hands, good speed, a high motor, and a coachability that shows up in how he approaches both practice and preparation. Add in leadership qualities and a solid 3.4 GPA, and you have a prospect who understands that development is about more than just football.
As the 2027 recruiting cycle continues to unfold, Dominic Colosi is a name to keep on the radar—an emerging wide receiver who’s putting in the work now, trusting the process, and preparing for the moment when preparation meets opportunity.
