Why did you start playing the game? Was it a person who influenced you? If so, who and how did they influence you? I started playing because I fell in love with the game. My father influenced me. He was a coach and growing up I would go to watch him coach on Friday nights. We'd watch football together Saturday and Sunday, too.
What are some of your personal and team goals this season? I have personal goals of rushing and passing for over 1000 yards this season in both categories. My team goals are to win the league we are a part of and go deep into playoffs. We want one more season of hard work to look back on after our 10-12 years of playing together. This group of us grew up playing together which makes it really special.
What would your teachers say about you? My teachers would say that I work hard and get my work in on time. They would say that I do all tasks asked of me and that I’m intelligent and persistent.
Who is your favorite player and why? Josh Allen. I love the way he plays the game. He doesn’t shy away from contact but he also knows when to avoid it. He was not highly recruited and it gives hope to a small town kid like myself.
Why should a college coach recruit you in the future? They will not find an individual that will work as hard as I do. I give my everything on every play, and play every game as if it is my last. I love the sport and am dedicated to bettering myself as an athlete and person. I am coachable and will take criticism. I am well liked by my teammates and every time I step on the field I believe that I have the best football IQ of anyone and everyone out there.
