Some of the top prospects from West Virginia and surrounding areas were on hand at the Recruit Nation College Prospect showcase at Wheeling Island Stadium in Wheeling, WV. College coaches from 12 programs provided instruction and evaluated players. The athletes were tested in the 40 yard dash, and Pro Shuttle. The players also received individual and group instruction from the college coaches to improve their skills.
There were many standouts (highlighted below). The college coaches awarded positional MVP honors. Sage Clawges was selected as the Overall Showcase MVP.
The players ranged from class of 2021 to class of 2025. Members of the Dream All-American Bowl committee were on hand as well. The committee will invite underclassmen to the Recruit Nation Regional Showcases beginning in July in Jacksonville, Fl with those top performers earning an invite to play in the 2022 Dream All-American Bowl in AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys.
