Killen, AL – Tristan Hamner is a high-impact linebacker for Rogers High School, where he has developed into one of Alabama’s most consistent young defensive playmakers. A member of the BETA Club with a 3.6 GPA, he balances academic excellence with high-level athletic performance. His discipline and leadership carry over seamlessly to the football field.
Hamner plays downhill with urgency, combining speed, power, and exceptional tackling ability. He attacks the ball with intensity and excels in shedding blocks and disrupting plays. His range allows him to cover sideline to sideline, while his strength enables him to step into the box and make physical stops.
Coaches praise his coachability, high motor, and natural leadership. Hamner consistently reads plays well and positions himself to make big stops, whether against the run or rushing the passer. With his blend of intelligence, athleticism, and toughness, he is a rising linebacker with tremendous upside.
