The Top Rated Girls Prospects At The Northeast Regional Showcase

The much-anticipated player rankings for the Northeast Regional Showcase have officially been released! After on-court evaluations, National Radar scouts and Recruit Nation staff have cast their votes, recognizing the top basketball talent across each class. These elite players have distinguished themselves through exceptional performance and will now hold the prestigious title of top player in the region. Their dominance will stand until next year's Northeast Regional, where new evaluations and rankings will once again highlight the region's rising stars. Class of 2025 - Ayanna Alark, a point guard from Kenwood Magnet High School in Maryland, is part of the class of 2025. Standing at 5'3" and weighing 118 lbs, Ayanna is a natural leader known for her hard work and strong defensive skills. With a 3.8 GPA, she excels both on the court and academically. Her coachability and hustle make her a reliable and dynamic player for any team.


Class of 2026 - Sophia Baffone, a shooting guard from Padua in Wilmington, Delaware, is a member of the class of 2026. At 5'6" and 140 lbs, Sophia is recognized for her leadership, vision, and long-range shooting abilities. A hard worker on the court, she consistently strives to improve her game. Sophia's dedication to basketball is matched by her competitive spirit and drive.


Class of 2027 - Sara Hilsmeier, a 5'11" center from Kennard Dale in Fawn Grove, Pennsylvania, is part of the class of 2027. With a 4.09 GPA and honors like Distinguished Honor Roll and YAIAA All-Star Honorable Mention, she balances academic excellence with athletic prowess. Known for her strong rebounding, vision, and work ethic, Sara is a coachable player who contributes significantly to her team's success.


Class of 2028 - Sharon Rodney, a 5'3" point guard from ECHS in Dover, Delaware, is in the class of 2028. With a 4.0 GPA and involvement in NJHS, FCCLA, FFA, and track & field, she demonstrates exceptional versatility and commitment. Sharon is known for her speed, lateral quickness, and defensive abilities, along with her hard-working nature and coachability. Her quickness and agility make her a formidable opponent on the court.
