The National Radar recruiting update on Florida's top 2023 Safety prospects

The National Radar is keeping track on the recruitment of some of the top players in the nation. Today we look at the recruit of over a dozen Class of 2023 safety prospects from the state of Florida. With spring ball coming up, The National Radar knows there will be more athletes who will deserve to be added to the list. So, if we missed you this time around, we'll make sure to get you the next time. We'll also have an under-the-radar list coming soon for Florida 2023 safety prospects.


Amare Ferrell | 6-1.5 | 195 | Columbia

Ferrell received an offer from Indiana on Feb. 24. His list of 15-plus offers include Kentucky, Louisville, Arizona, Cincinnati, Penn State, and Pittsburgh.


Cameron Upshaw | 6-2.5 | 185 | Gadsen


Upshaw received offers from Arkansas and Michigan State last week. He’ll be taking a visit to Florida on March 1. South Carolina, Arkansas, Florida State, Maryland, and Iowa are among his 20-plus offers.


Cedrick Hawkins | 6-0 | 165 | Cocoa

Hawkins is committed to Ohio State.


Conrad Hussey | 5-11 | 180 | St. Thomas Aquinas

Hussey received offers from UNLV, Southern Miss, FAU, and Utah during the month of February. Penn State, Maryland, Florida State, and Florida are among his other offers.


Daemon Fagon | 6-2 | 180 | American Heritage

Fagan announced that Miami (FL), Penn State, Georgia, LSU, NC State, Ohio State, Florida State, and UCF were his top eight schools on Feb. 21.


Davaughn Patterson | 6-0 | 195 | Ed White

Patterson received offers from South Florida, Buffalo, Central Michigan, and Delaware during the month of February. He also has offers from Bowling Green and UMass.


Dontay Joyner | 6-0 | 175 | Lakeland

Joyner’s most recent offer came from Marshall on Feb. 15. He has offers from Eastern Kentucky, FIU, and South Florida.


Elliot Washington | 6-1 | 188 | Venice



Washington is committed to Alabama.


Jaheim Clarke | 6-1 | 165 | Riverdale

Clarke received his third offer from Marshall on Feb. 22. He has offers from Alabama A&M, Illinois, and Marshall.


Jaremiah Anglin Jr. | 6-1 | 185 | Lake Wales

Anglin’s latest offer came from Penn State on Feb. 24. Florida State, Florida, Kentucky, Penn State, Louisville, and Kentucky are among his 18-plus offers.


Jayden Sheppard | 6-2 | 181 | Niceville

Sheppard has offers from Georgia Tech, Southern Miss, and West Virginia.


Jordan Castell | 6-2 | 195 | West Orange

Arkansas, Ole Miss, and Auburn offered Castell during the month of February. Castell’s other offers include Alabama, Auburn, Penn State, Ohio State, and Virginia.


Kenton Kirkland | 6-1 | 180 | Raines



Temple and Howard offered Kirkland during the month of February. UCF, Akron, Temple, Ole Miss, Michigan, and Miami (FL) are among his other offers.


Kerry Brown | 6-0 | 175 | Naples

Minnesota, Liberty, and Kansas all offered Brown during the month of February. He also has offers from Temple and Illinois.


King Mack | 5-11 | 180 | St. Thomas Aquinas

Cincinnati, Maryland, Miami (FL), Maryland, Notre Dame, and Texas A&M are among his 10-plus offers.


Mark-Allen Gay Jr. | 6-1 | 180 | Killian

Gay received offers from Maryland and Memphis during the month of February. He also has offers from Akron, Central Michigan, Coastal Carolina, FIU, Florida Atlantic, Marshall, Middle Tennessee State, Syracuse, and Western Kentucky.


Norris Davis | 6-2 | 175 | Tampa Bay Tech

Davis received offers from Kansas State, Boston College, and UConn during the month of February.


Preston Thompson | 5-11 | 175 | Clewiston

Thompson is committed to Florida Atlantic.


Zachary Tobe | 6-1 | 175 | Ocoee

Tobe’s 10-plus offers include Iowa State, Tennessee, UCF, Cincinnati, and Nebraska.
