National Radar Spotlight: 23 Class of 2023 running backs to watch from Georgia

The state of Georgia is home to some of the top running backs in the southeastern part of the United States. National Radar takes a look at 23 running backs from the Peach State that both have offers and who don’t have offers. We will expand this list in the upcoming months.

Bing has an offer from Georgia Tech. He rushed for 1,008 yards and scored nine total touchdowns during the 2021 season.

JAMARION WILCOX | 5-10 | 195 | SOUTH PAULDING



Wilcox’s 10-plus offers include Wake Forest, Vanderbilt, South Florida, Kansas State, Louisville, and Purdue. He carried the football 202 times for 1,534 yards (139.5 ypc.) and 23 touchdowns in 11 games during his junior-year campaign.


JEKAIL MIDDLEBROOK | 5-9 | 175 | LOVELJOY

Middlebrook has offers from Charlotte and Middle-Tennessee State. He’s also being recruited as a defensive back.


JUSTICE HAYNES | 5-10 | 195 | BLESSED TRINITY

Haynes is the top overall prospect in his class from the state of Georgia. His list of 35-plus offers includes Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, LSU, Miami, Michigan, Florida State, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Nebraska, and Oregon. Haynes carried the football 257 times for 2,475 yards (9.7 ypc) and 29 touchdowns during his junior year campaign.


KEYJUAN BROWN | 5-10 | 190 | SOUTH ATLANTA



Brown had a phenomenal junior-year campaign as he rushed 251 times for 2,757 yards (11.0 ypc.) and 38 touchdowns in 13 games. He has offers from Arkansas, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, South Florida, Virginia, East Carolina, Bowling Green,Eastern Kentucky, UNC-Charlotte, Kansas State, and Wake Forest. Brown will easily reach over 25-plus offers in the next several months.

Morrow has an offer from Pitt.


MALCOLM BROWN | 5-10 | 180 | WARNER ROBINS



Brown has offers from Coastal Carolina, Georgia State, Minnesota, North Carolina State, and Virginia Tech. He rushed 199 times for 1,332 yards (121 ypg.) and 17 touchdowns in 11 games last season.


RICKY FULTON | 5-9 | 170 | THOMASVILLE

Fulton has an offer from Florida Atlantic. He rushed 183 times for 954 yards (5.2 ypc.) and six touchdowns in 15 games last season.


RYAN MCKINNIS | 6-2 | 200 | BUFORD



McKinnis has offers from Arkansas State, Charlotte, Duke, Georgia Southern, Liberty, UMass, UConn, East Carolina, and West Virginia. He plays both running back and linebacker.

Harvison has offers from Kentucky, East Carolina, and Virginia.

Lundy carried the football 191 times for 1,668 yards (8.7 ypc) and 21 touchdowns in 15 games last season.

DJ BELL | 6-0 | 180 | PIERCE COUNTY

Bell carried the football 263 times for 1,778 yards and 23 touchdowns in nine games this past season. He also passed for 446 yards and eight touchdowns. Bell is a combo HB/QB. We’ll list him as a RB.

Rogers rushed for 1,481 yards and 21 touchdowns in ten games last season. He averaged 7.6 yards per carry.


JAYDEN MASON | 6-0 | 205 | CALVARY CHRISTIAN

Mason carried the football 132 times for 1,436 yards and 15 touchdowns during the 2021 season.

MARLON MITCHELL | 5-10 | 185 | MACON COUNTY

Mitchell carried the football 193 times for 1,712 yards (8.9 ypc) and 20 touchdowns in 12 games last season.
