National Radar Scout Report

Name: Jake Seay

Class: 2028

Position: Offensive Lineman

Height/Weight: 6'3", 325 lbs

GPA: 3.5

Jake Seay is one of the most dominant young linemen in the country in the Class of 2028. At 6'3" and 325 pounds, he brings an elite physical frame paired with brute strength and surprising agility. His weight room numbers are elite for his age—585-lb squat, 500-lb deadlift, and 385-lb bench—making him a true mauler in the trenches. Jake finishes blocks with tenacity, showing excellent pad level, drive, and hand placement.

He’s a three-time FBU Top Gun Showcase selection, two-time Top Camp selection, and has racked up honors like Offensive Lineman of the Year and the Leadership Award, reflecting both performance and character. His powerlifting background, highlighted by his championship at the Marvin Allen Invitational and regional qualification in Texas, separates him as one of the strongest young athletes in the country. As a Freshman Dream All-American and Dream Brand Athlete, Jake’s exposure is national—and rising fast. His motor, football IQ, and natural leadership make him a clear Power Five-caliber recruit.

🏈 College Coach Evaluation – Offensive Line Coach Perspective

Jake Seay is one of the few underclassmen we've seen who combines high-level strength, consistency, and football intelligence this early in his development. His measurables are elite, and his weight room production is off the charts for a freshman. You can tell he puts in serious work in the offseason. At 6’3” 325, Jake anchors well in pass protection and creates vertical displacement in the run game. He has a natural center of gravity and uses leverage effectively, rarely getting moved off his spot.

What impressed me beyond his size and strength is his demeanor and leadership. He communicates well pre-snap, encourages teammates, and leads by example. His resume is loaded: FBU, Under Armour All-American, Dream Sports Group All-American, and even academic and FFA honors—he’s the full package. He’s not just a “weight room warrior”—he’s a technician with upside.

If he continues to refine footwork and maintain mobility as he grows, he’ll be a multi-year starter at the college level and someone we’d love to have in our program. I’ll be tracking him closely over the next two seasons.
