We are proud to announce Johnie Griffin III, an 11th-grade point guard from Southern Maryland Christian Academy, will participate in the Dream Basketball Classic, September 21 & 22, 2024 at the Chase Fieldhouse in Wilmington, DE. At 6'1" and 175 pounds, Griffin combines athleticism with a high basketball IQ, making him a key asset for his team. His strengths lie in his outside and inside shooting, combined with exceptional dribbling skills and court vision. Not just an offensive force, Griffin is also a solid defender, making him a well-rounded and coachable player.
Griffin's accolades speak volumes about his talent and work ethic. He earned Honorable Mention All-League honors in both the 2023 and 2024 seasons and led his team in scoring and blocked shots during the 2024 season. His leadership on and off the court is evident, and his ability to step up in crucial moments has made him a key player for Southern Maryland Christian Academy.
