Jett Truitt to play in the 2023 Dream Basketball Classic

Jett Truitt was nominated and accepted into the 2023 Dream Basketball Classic. After rigorous review from the committee, the top athletes were invited to attend the 3-day exposure event. The Dream Basketball Classic is a weekend long event of developmental activities and performance on a nationwide platform. Participation allows players to learn from some of the best teachers of the game, former professional players, college and high school coaches. Top performers from this event will be eligible to play in the Dream Basketball Spring Classic, held in a to be announced NBA arena.

Committee leader and CEO of Dream Sports Group, Shannon Riley, says “the athletes that were selected have exemplified great leadership skills on and off the court. This event will help each player build their exposure and college connections. Every participant will have their recruiting information shared to our network of NCAA, NAIA and JUCO colleges and universities. We believe that these are the next stars of the game and we want to recognize them for their outstanding achievements and help them get to the next level.”

"Jett displays an array of skills that bode well for his basketball journey. Whether it's driving to the basket with finesse or pulling up for a mid-range jumper, he's demonstrated a versatile scoring repertoire that keeps defenders guessing. Defensively, his quickness and anticipation stand out. He's adept at staying in front of his opponents, contesting shots, and even coming up with steals. We are excited to see him display his talents this fall in Wilmington, DE at the 76ers Chase Fieldhouse!"

Dream Sports Group congratulates him on this prestigious honor and once in a lifetime opportunity.
