TALON SCHARICH SELECTED TO PLAY IN 2024 DREAM ALL-AMERICAN BOWL
FLORIDA — Talon Scharich was nominated and accepted into the 2024 Dream All-American Bowl taking place on June 23, 2024 at IMG Academy. After rigorous review from the committee, the top athletes were invited to play in the exclusive all-star game and participate in a weekend long event of developmental activities and performance on a nationwide platform. Dream All-American Bowl showcases the nation’s top youth athletes. Participation allows players to learn from some of the best teachers of the game, former NFL players and current college coaches.
Committee leader and CEO of Dream Sports Group, Shannon Riley, says “the athletes that were selected have exemplified great leadership skills on and off the field, and have stood out as leading performers in each position. We believe that these are the next stars of the game, and we want to recognize them for their outstanding achievements and help them get to the next level.”
"Talon Scharich, an eighth grader from Huntington, IN, is a dominant force on the defensive line. Standing at 5'9" and weighing 186 pounds, Talon has been recognized as the Lineman of the Year for 2021-2022 and also shone as a pitcher, earning the title for 2021-2022 and 2022-2023. Beyond his athletic prowess, Talon is an honor roll student and a dedicated youth sports official, serving as a flag football referee and baseball umpire. His commitment to volunteering, especially in youth pitching and tackling, highlights his leadership and dedication to the sport. Talon's strength and technique make him a formidable presence on the defensive line."
180 student athletes from across the nation will be selected to play. Dream Sports Group congratulates him on this prestigious honor and once in a lifetime opportunity.
