In a statement victory Friday night, the Davenport Broncos rolled past Somerset High School with a convincing 47–23 win. The offense exploded early and never looked back, while the defense made key stops to shut down Somerset’s comeback attempts. The victory improved Davenport’s record and solidified their reputation as one of the most balanced and physical teams in the region.
After the game, National Radar Texas Regional Director of Scouting & Recruiting Hank Seay caught up with several of Davenport’s standout performers — including running back Barrett Fallen, kicker Ashton Mercer, lineman Luke Lindley, and safety Payton Yankie — who all played major roles in the win.
