BURCHETT EARNS FIRST OFFER FROM MCPHERSON COLLEGE: ACADEMIC AND ATHLETIC STANDOUT ON THE RISE

[Texas] – Hard work is paying off for Class of 2026 standout Jestin Burchett, a 6’0”, 274-pound force on the offensive line who has officially received his first college football offer from McPherson College in Kansas.

Burchett, a dominant center and guard, is more than just a powerhouse in the trenches. With a staggering 4.74 GPA and a class rank of 17th out of 218, he proves that elite performance isn’t confined to the field. A top-10% academic achiever, Burchett is also the captain of both his football and powerlifting teams—exemplifying leadership, discipline, and commitment to excellence.

Known for his raw strength—holding the school’s all-time squat record at 615 pounds—Jestin has also demonstrated impressive athleticism for his size, clocking a 5.2 40-yard dash, 4.84 shuttle, and posting a 21.79” vertical and 7’ broad jump. These numbers showcase a rare blend of explosiveness, mobility, and football IQ, traits that make him a true next-level prospect.

McPherson College, a member of the NAIA’s Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC), has a long-standing tradition of developing student-athletes who thrive in both academics and athletics. Known for small class sizes, a personalized educational experience, and a supportive athletic community, McPherson is a great match for high-character athletes like Burchett.

“I’m honored to receive this offer from McPherson,” Burchett said. “This is just the beginning. I’m hungry, focused, and ready to keep grinding until I’ve earned every opportunity that comes my way.”

With his leadership, work ethic, and relentless pursuit of growth, Jestin Burchett is firmly on the radar—and his journey to the next level is just heating up.
