Brandon Schilling Earns MVP Honors at Dream All-American Combine

Brandon Schilling, a Class of 2026 linebacker from Cypress Woods High School (TX), delivered an outstanding performance at the Dream All-American Combine on January 1st in Frisco, Texas, earning MVP honors through his consistency, athleticism, and high-level execution in drills and one-on-one competition. Measuring 5’11”, 200 pounds, Schilling stood out immediately with his explosive movements, smooth change of direction, and ability to stay balanced and under control throughout linebacker positional work. He showed strong lateral quickness, clean footwork, and excellent body positioning while moving through agility stations, consistently demonstrating the traits evaluators look for in modern second-level defenders.

During one-on-one periods, Schilling displayed advanced awareness, discipline, and football IQ, reading routes and concepts quickly while keeping his eyes in the right place. He showed comfort working in space, demonstrated reliable technique in coverage situations, and consistently attacked each rep with urgency and focus. Coaches noted his coachability, attention to detail, and strong leadership presence throughout the event. Already recognized as an Academic All-District Athlete in 16-6A and a Linebacker MVP in February 2025, Schilling’s performance in Frisco further solidified his status as a high-upside Class of 2026 prospect and a name to continue monitoring within the Dream All-American pipeline.
